Why Dentistry?

Why Dentistry and also why create yet another online platform?

The picture above encapsulates a small part of why I like dentistry.

Dentistry is an art form, a skill, and a culmination of techniques that can be built on over a lifetime. This is what they gave to us on the first week of dental school. Plastic teeth, wax, and some brushes. We were told to build teeth (or what looked like blobs) with wax. This made me appreciate the intricacies of every human tooth and also gain a new understanding on how much dexterity dentistry required.

Fast forward to now, Dentistry is not only a way to work with my hands, but also a way to connect with patients, develop life-long relationships with them and guide them to better health. I hope this page helps anyone get to know me a little better, whether it be a patient, fellow dentist, or someone who is interested in dentistry as a career. I want to share my journey in dentistry and also things like photography and general health. Till the next post!
